Visiting Places of Worship

gr 11

Our Grade 11 World religion students visited a Jewish Synagogue and a Macedonian Christian Orthodox Church, while the other half of our Grade 11 World religion students visited a Hindu temple and Muslim Mosque in order to have a greater appreciation of our faith driven neighbours in the broader GTA community.

These experiences enrich the course’s curriculum as students meet people outside of their community with similar, yet different world views, and subsequently make connections to the teachings of the Catholic Church.

A tremendous thanks is extended to all teachers who planned and supervised this excursion!
